Domotz Releases Manufacturer Support Feature For Luxul

New Domotz Pro intelligent collaborative troubleshooting capability delivers a time-saving win for both integrators and manufacturers


San Francisco, CA and Draper, Utah – March 15, 2017 – Domotz, the leading provider of network monitoring and remote tech support systems for integration companies and IT professionals; and Luxul, the leading innovator of IP networking solutions for CEDIA professionals, today announced the launch of a new Manufacturer Support feature available in Domotz PRO.

The Manufacturer Support feature allows professional installers to share access to their customer’s network with Luxul’s support team for real-time troubleshooting. Once the problem is resolved, the dealer can quickly and easily revoke access.

Streamlined support for Luxul: How it works
Using the Manufacturer Support feature in the Domotz PRO app is incredibly simple and convenient as everything can be done remotely. Neither the dealer nor the Luxul support representative need to be at the customer site. The basic process is as follows:

  • Once any Luxul device is found on a network that’s using Domotz PRO, a Manufacturer Support tile will appear on the Domotz PRO dashboard
  • The dealer can grant the Luxul support team temporary access to any Luxul device
  • With visibility into the device, the Luxul support team can work more closely with the dealer to investigate and resolve issues faster and with more intelligence
  • Access to the network is temporary and automatically revoked after the specified time threshold or once the dealer closes the support session

Manufacturer Support feature availability
The new Luxul Manufacturer Support feature is already live in Domotz PRO. Just connect Domotz PRO to a network with Luxul devices to experience it. Domotz PRO support features for additional hardware manufacturers will be announced in the months ahead.
